About Mo

Hi, I’m Mo.

Your local dev girl with a keyboard, caffeine dependency, and approximately 74 open tabs at any given time.

Welcome to Days in the Life of Mo; a blog that started off as a casual once-a-week brain dump and somehow turned into a daily ritual where I talk tech, type thoughts, and try to make sense of this weirdly wonderful world we live in.

So Why This Blog?

Honestly? I needed somewhere to put all the random tech rants, lightbulb moments, and mini existential crises that come from being a woman in STEM, a developer, a sometimes-overthinker, and a full-time human being. Instagram felt too curated. Twitter/X is chaos. A blog? That felt like home.

At first, I committed to just one post a week; mostly because I wasn’t sure if anyone would read it. But also because life was lifing, and I had a hundred other things on my plate (see: learning, debugging, panic naps, painting, etc.)

But the more I wrote, the more it clicked:
People were actually reading. Some were laughing. Others were learning. A few were even replying to say, “I felt this.” So I started writing more. Sharing more. One post a week turned into two. Two turned into daily. And here we are.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Code things – especially from the trenches of C#, web dev, and whatever bugs break my build at 2AM
  • Tech thoughts – ethical AI? Digital burnout? Incognito mode lies? Say less.
  • Personal bits – soft moments, subtle rants, the occasional poetic spiral
  • Curious curiosities – stories that make you go “Wait, what?!?” in the best possible way

This blog is where I get to mix it all: the serious with the silly, the academic with the chaotic, the code with the feelings. Because I’m not just writing as a developer; I’m writing as Mo. A girl who’s trying, failing, learning, and figuring it all out in real-time.

Why You Should Stay

If you’ve ever:

  • Thought your update reminders were plotting against you
  • Googled “is the algorithm listening to me??”
  • Wanted to understand tech without feeling like you need a PhD
  • Felt like being smart and soft is allowed in the same sentence

Then this blog is for you.

So grab a snack. Read a post. Stay for the vibes.
Let’s figure things out together, one curious blog entry at a time.

Subscribe to never miss a post; from soft tech talk to wild tab tangents, it’s all coming straight from the brain of Mo.

Because every day in this life is a little different.
And you deserve the front-row seat.

Wanna Fuel This Blog?

If you’ve enjoyed reading Days in the Life of Mo—whether it made you laugh, learn something new, or just feel like someone out there also has a million browser tabs open—consider supporting the blog on Ko-fi.

I run this blog solo, between coding, tutoring, painting, and occasionally remembering to eat. Your support helps me keep writing, keep creating, and keep hitting “publish” even on the chaotic days.

Think of it as buying your dev girl a virtual cup of coffee (or let’s be real; therapy in a mug).

Thanks for being here. It means more than you know
